Charles

Meet Charles! Charles is a handsome 18-month-old (as of June 2026) long-haired dog mix, weighing around 22 pounds. His breed is a bit of a mystery, but we think he might have some Shetland Sheepdog, Papillon, and Shepherd in him! Charles and his siblings, Victor and Vickie, were found as strays in Memphis and taken to a local shelter. While initially overlooked, our rescue stepped in to give them a second chance in a loving foster home where they could truly decompress and show their true, wonderful personalities. Charles, who was a bit shy at first, has blossomed into a loving and attentive companion. He's a bit less energetic than his brother Victor but loves to greet you with enthusiasm each morning. He's currently house-trained to a doggie door and will need a little patience as he adjusts to new routines.

Ideal Home

We'd love for Charles to have a fenced yard where he can safely run and play, but it's not a strict requirement.

Ongoing Health

Charles is up to date on his vaccinations and has been neutered.
