Romeo

Romeo is a charming 3-year-old husky mix who weighs 61 pounds. He's a talkative boy who was struggling with kennel stress after spending too much time in a shelter environment. But don't let that fool you! Romeo warms up quickly and absolutely adores human affection, leaning in for all the pets. He's a playful goofball who loves a good game of fetch and enjoys splashing around in a kiddie pool. Romeo knows basic commands and is gentle when taking treats. He's had positive introductions with other dogs and even remained unfazed when another dog showed a bit of dominance. Currently decompressing in a foster home, Romeo is getting the space he needs to adjust after a long stint in kennels.

Ideal Home

Romeo would thrive in a home where he can continue to decompress and build confidence. Given some past interactions where he was a little growly with dogs asking for space, he is currently getting some space while he adjusts and we assess his needs.

Ongoing Health

Romeo is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Romeo can have some anxiety while walking on a leash and needs consistent walks to help build his confidence.
