Kiya

Kiya is a beautiful and playful 9-week-old female Husky, weighing around 10 lbs. This smarty pants is already doing well with potty training and prefers to go outside, though she'll use potty pads if needed. Kiya knows a few tricks and is working on basic obedience. She's a food lover but patiently sits and waits for her meal. She's crate trained for naps and loves to snuggle with her foster family and canine sibling. Like many puppies, she's teething and needs plenty of chew toys to keep her occupied – she'll even chew her own tail when bored! Kiya dislikes the heat and dreams of a cooler climate where she can play in the snow or fall leaves. She’s looking for a family to continue her training and shower her with love as she grows. Kiya will not be spayed before transport; her contract will require spaying around one year of age.

Ongoing Health

Kiya will not be spayed prior to transport but her adoption contract will include a commitment to have her spayed when she reaches full adult size, approximately one year of age.

Training & Support

Kiya is crate trained and working on basic obedience. She is teething, so providing her with chew toys and bones is essential.

Kiya is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home. Faith and Hope Foundation delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia.
