Ivory

Ivory is a slightly vision-impaired but incredibly adaptable and loving companion who came to us as a surprise package in the best way possible. She and her companion, Misu, were surrendered to a high-kill shelter but were thankfully rescued and are now thriving in a foster home. Ivory is a heart-melter who, despite her past, truly shines when given attention. She loves hearing her name and being called a good girl, and will greet you with enthusiastic hip hugs. Her favorite pastime is collecting toys to keep them close by her side. She's a smart, fun-loving girl who enjoys naps and lounging, making her the perfect couch potato partner. Ivory can be good with other dogs but would do best with a sound, non-reactive canine companion. A potential quirk to be aware of is her tendency to dig holes to lay in, suggesting she may have been an outdoor dog in the past, though she is very well-behaved indoors. Ivory also communicates her needs and will chatter back when you talk to her, adding to her unique charm.

Ideal Home

A home prepared for the possibility of her eyesight worsening in the future, understanding that it may take her some time to adjust to changes. She would do best with a sound, non-reactive dog companion.

Ivory has slight vision impairment, but it is not expected to significantly impact her daily life.

Ivory loves to dig holes to lay in. She is communicative and will chatter back when spoken to.
