Hi there! I'm Scout, a playful and loving 1-year-old Lab mix, weighing in at about 40 pounds. I've been patiently waiting for my forever family for what feels like ages, and I'm so excited about the possibility of meeting you! I'm the ultimate adventure buddy, always ready for a hike, a romp in the yard, or just some fun playing with toys. But my absolute favorite thing is sharing life with my people. I'm a happy, energetic boy with a super affectionate personality, and I absolutely adore kids. After a day of exploring, there's nothing better than snuggling up with my humans. I also have a lot of love to give to my canine friends and enjoy having doggie playmates. I even did wonderfully at a recent busy adoption event, showing how great I am with people and other dogs! I'm already potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and I have a cute little habit of laying down while I eat – I just like to be comfy while enjoying my snacks!
