Kat is a brave little survivor with a gentle, curious soul. At just 3 weeks old, she was found tucked beneath a blanket of leaves in the woods alongside her siblings. Despite such a difficult start, Kat and her sister, Kit, are the two who made it, and both are now thriving. Kat is playful, people-oriented, and happiest when she’s close to her humans. Whether she’s tumbling around with toys, curling up in your lap, or quietly following you from room to room, she has a soft, sweet presence that’s easy to love. She gets along well with other dogs and is learning how to interact with cats, approaching everything with a thoughtful mix of curiosity and caution. Kat is smart, observant, and eager to explore the world around her. She’s ready for a family who will cherish her, guide her, and celebrate the bright, loving pup she’s becoming. If you’re looking for a resilient little companion with a tender heart, Kat would love to meet you.
Ideal Home
Homes considering puppies must be prepared for flexible schedules for potty training, crate training for the next 10 months to keep them safe from chewing on everything in your home, supervision with children and obedience training, and socialization with new people, children, and other dogs outside of the home. Homes that want a well-behaved dog must be prepared to put the time, effort, and costs associated with training a puppy.
Ongoing Health
Your adoption fee covers age-specific vaccinations, a health certificate, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming, and a martingale collar. All dogs have a current health certificate for transport. All imported dogs are quarantined for 14 days prior to transport. They've had annual heartworm tests and are on heartworm preventative.
