Carbon is a 78-pound bundle of love who truly believes he's a lap dog. He greets everyone like a long-lost friend, eager to share his affection through kisses, hugs, and leaning his entire body against your legs. Carbon is a Husky/Pitty mix with a soft, velvety charcoal coat, captivating honey-colored eyes, and a sweet smile. He's a wonderful work-from-home companion, content to curl up nearby while you're busy. When he's not cuddling, Carbon enjoys playing with stuffed toys and romping with his foster siblings, of which there are five, and he gets along with all of them. He's social, respectful, and easygoing with other dogs. We're still exploring his compatibility with cats.
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he can be part of a family. While a fenced yard is a bonus for playtime, his greatest happiness comes from being with his people, whether in a house or a cozy apartment. He's not looking for perfection, but for connection.
Ongoing Health
Carbon is a healthy boy who has received all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Carbon is a well-adjusted dog who enjoys his toys and playing with other dogs. He's content to be near his favorite person and doesn't require constant attention. His foster family has been working with him on socialization and he has attended training and socialization play groups.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Real-time tracking and photo updates are provided. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
