Charle

Charle is a sweet, 5-year-old mixed-breed boy weighing 33 pounds. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender after previously being found as a stray.

Charle loves attention, pets, kisses, and cuddles, and experiences separation anxiety. He enjoys zoomies, then relaxing in a lap or on the couch with his own pillow. He is friendly with everyone, good with other dogs and children, and is used to a fenced yard and furniture. He is vocal, fearful of thunderstorms, and may flinch at fast movements and loud noises.

Ideal Home

• A home prepared to support Charle’s separation anxiety and sensitivity to thunderstorms, fast movements, and loud noises.
• He is used to having a fenced-in yard and being allowed on furniture.
• Charle is good with other dogs and children. Compatibility with cats was not stated.

Ongoing Health

Charle’s $150 adoption fee includes his neuter, current vaccines, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention, microchipping, and a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Charle knows the command “sit” and does well on leash once calm, though he may pull when excited or distracted. He is house-trained.
