Lark

Lark is a sweet and playful pure German Shepherd, about one year old and 50lbs. She is energetic, loving, loyal, and eager to learn and be with her people. We rescued Lark from the streets of Hollywood and integrated her into our home with five other dogs. She bonded quickly with our female shepherd/cattle dog mix and even brought her out of her shell. Lark also enjoys roughhousing with our terrier/chihuahua mix. She regularly trail walks with a pack of big dogs without issue and is good on a leash in the neighborhood. Lark attends daycare weekly and happily plays with other dogs. She is crate trained and settles into her bed without complaint. Lark has no food aggression, loves toys, and is not destructive to household objects. She is very affectionate with her human family and has learned to control her excitement when greeting people. She is protective of her people, house, and yard.

Ideal Home

Lark would thrive in an active home with other big dogs. She is not a good fit for homes with small female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lark is healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Lark has learned to control her jumping when greeting people. She is protective and would benefit from continued training to reinforce good behavior.

Transporation

Lark is currently located in Southern California and can be transported to approved adopters within a reasonable distance.
