Meet Huck and Finn, two adventurous Bichon boys ready to embark on their next great chapter: becoming beloved family dogs!
Huck and Finn share an unbreakable bond, and while we'd love to see them adopted together, we're open to a home that can provide them with the love and support they deserve. They help each other feel brave, safe, and cherished, making their companionship a truly special sight. If you have another friendly, similarly-sized dog already in your home, a separation might be possible.
Huck (orange collar)
- Age: Estimated 3 years old
- Weight: 14 lbs
- Huck is the calmer, more laid-back of the two. He's incredibly sweet, enjoys the company of other small dogs, and is learning to trust and appreciate humans. His favorite activities include energetic play sessions with dog friends, peaceful naps, and embracing the cozy life of a house dog. Huck thrives with the presence of another dog to boost his confidence and security.
Finn (teal collar, darker tan ears)
- Age: Estimated 5 years old
- Weight: 12 lbs
- Finn is the delightfully goofy and charming one. He's blossoming beautifully in his interactions with people, enjoys gentle petting, and has a wonderfully silly personality that's sure to bring smiles. He loves to playfully roll onto his back and put on a dramatic show. Like Huck, Finn is very dog-friendly, relaxed, and is still discovering the joys of being part of a family.
Ideal Home
A home that understands and appreciates the need for patience, kindness, and time as these sweet boys continue to blossom. They are incredibly gentle and have been perfect houseguests according to their foster.
Ongoing Health
Both Huck and Finn are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Belly bands do not bother them.
Training & Support
Potty training is still a work in progress, but they consistently do their business outside of their kennels. Leashes are new to them, so a fenced yard would be beneficial, though not strictly required. They have not been tested with cats.
