Meet Gigi! This gorgeous gal came to us through our Humane Investigations Team, rescued from unfortunate circumstances. When Gigi first arrived, she was very nervous, leading to uncertainty about trusting humans and going on walks. However, Gigi has since made wonderful progress and has become a staff and volunteer favorite! She can often be found enjoying long walks with her handlers, having play sessions at the park, or taking a car ride around town to get some time out of her kennel and enjoy a pup-cup! Gigi is a high-energy, playful, bouncy girl who could live in a home with children 13 years and older. This sweet girl will require multiple meet-and-greets to get to know her, as she can take some time to warm up to new people and learn to trust. We understand her past, so we don't blame this sweet girl for wanting to ensure she's safe before she warms up to someone! Gigi would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she is not a fan of canine or feline friends. Gigi is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all our resident animals receive plenty of love, many come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, attention, and patience. To help this special resident find their adoptive home, a generous donor has sponsored their adoption donation, to help them feel extra loved! Gigi is also part of our Rosie's Rule program. We've teamed up with Fi Smart Dog Collar to provide GPS-enabled dog collars for residents who may be at an increased risk of becoming separated from their handler. Once outfitted with a Fi Collar, Rosie's Rule dogs will keep their collar through adoption, along with a one-year subscription to the Fi App, at no cost to their new family.
