Captain Jack Russell

Captain Jack Russell is a fun-loving, playful pup with a heart of gold! He was born on an Amish farm and, along with his three brothers, didn't receive much attention or affection. They were eventually rescued and brought to us just before their first birthday, initially very fearful and undomesticated. It took time, patience, and a gentle approach to help them learn to trust humans. Captain Jack was one of the last to come around, but he was also the first to show genuine interest in getting to know us! He's the funniest of the bunch, often bouncing on our legs for attention before stepping back to wait for a treat. While he's still learning, Captain Jack has blossomed into a happy, bouncy, and gentle character who knows he's loved and that humans can be good and compassionate.

Ideal Home

Captain Jack absolutely needs a fully fenced-in yard. An invisible fence will not be sufficient for his security.

Captain Jack is a rescue and has no specific health conditions mentioned.

Training & Support

Captain Jack is not completely house-broken, but he hasn't had any accidents indoors. He will need continued patience and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence.
