Mandela

Hi there! I'm Mandela, but my foster family lovingly calls me Dela. I'm a sweet, gentle soul who's already mastered house-training, knows commands like "sit," "shake," and "down," and generally has wonderful manners. I'm the definition of calm and easygoing. While my foster parents are busy, you'll usually find me napping or peacefully observing the world outside. I'm a quiet companion, rarely barking, and I absolutely adore snuggling on the couch. My greatest joy is simply relaxing near my favorite people.

Ideal Home

I'm already living harmoniously with a 1- and 3-year-old, handling their energy with a patient demeanor. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and am happy to coexist with them.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup! My adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, a heartworm test, deworming, and a microchip implant.

Training & Support

I sleep soundly in my kennel at night, but I'm also comfortable being out of the kennel and do wonderfully. I'm accident-free, haven't shown any destructive behavior, and I don't bark excessively. When my humans leave, I might vocalize a little for a couple of minutes, but I quickly settle down. My foster family suspects I may have had puppies in the past that were taken, so I just appreciate knowing my people will return.

Transporation

I am located in Loretto, MN. As we are a foster-based rescue, all adoptable animals are in homes and cannot be met until an application is submitted and approved.
