Meet Shadow! This affectionate and playful 1-year-old pup is a 45-pound bundle of Black Lab and Pitbull mix sweetness. Shadow is eager to be your best friend and shower you with love and puppy kisses. She's a toy enthusiast who enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, but she's also happy to entertain herself or cuddle up for some favorite booty scratches. Shadow already knows how to sit for treats, making her a motivated learner and a joy to train.

Ideal Home

Shadow would love a home with another playful dog to build her confidence and keep her entertained. A fenced yard is preferred for her playtime, but she could also adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise and enrichment. She's best suited for a home without cats, as she can get a little too excited and playful with them. While Shadow is great with children, her bouncy puppy energy means she'd do best with older kids who can handle her enthusiasm.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is a healthy, happy puppy who has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She's up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Shadow is potty-trained and walks well on a leash for 10-20 minutes a day, though she's still working on perfecting her leash manners. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to master her skills and gain confidence. Her treat-motivated nature makes training fun and rewarding!

Transportation

Shadow is located in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US and Canada via our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Please note that Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A transport surcharge of $87 applies.
