Ginger is a sweet, long-eared 2-year-old Bloodhound mix weighing 50 pounds. She was found as a stray and has been in foster care for a week, where she is slowly gaining confidence.

Ginger is very skittish and suspicious of loud noises, cars, airplanes, storms, and new people. When overwhelmed, she runs or hides rather than reacting aggressively. She will need a patient, loving family who can give her time to adjust and help her feel safe. She would do best with a fenced-in yard or quiet walks with little to no traffic, especially while she settles in. Ginger loves other dogs and may enjoy having doggy playmates to help show her the ropes.
