Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who's ready to charm his way into your heart! Brody is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back cuddles, making him a true all-around companion. He's a happy goofball who enjoys a good adventure but is just as content enjoying a lazy day by your side. Brody even enjoys dressing up for holidays, bringing extra fun to any occasion!
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can enjoy some zoomies and off-leash play. He does best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and prefers them as relaxed playmates. Due to his size and enthusiasm, he might be a bit much for smaller or timid dogs. Brody would also be happy to be your one-and-only furry friend. He has done well with children and would do best with older, dog-savvy kids (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a fan of cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy with no ongoing health concerns mentioned.
Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, doing wonderfully when left unsupervised in his crate. He's a gentleman on walks, maintaining a calm, loose-leash pace. Brody is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, responding well to structure, consistency, and encouragement. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, he continues to show great adaptability with calm guidance and positive experiences. He would do best in a home with experience with intelligent working breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls. Engaging his mind with activities like scent work, agility, or obedience classes will keep him happy and strengthen your bond.
