Phoebe 09-1747

Phoebe is a beautiful three-and-a-half-year-old, 52-pound hound mix who is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside! She's an active girl who enjoys going for runs with her foster mom and would be perfectly content in an apartment or condo. Phoebe is already potty trained, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs. She has been with us since 2022 and is ready to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Phoebe may thrive best in a home without men due to past trauma. While she has had positive interactions with male staff, building trust with a man in her household will require considerable time and patience. She also has a strong sense of "stranger danger," so she'll need ample time and a calm environment to learn to trust her new family. Providing her with decompression time upon arrival is essential.

Training & Support

Phoebe is potty and crate trained. Her past trauma means she needs an experienced owner who is willing to invest time and patience in her journey and won't give up if things aren't perfect right away. She needs a family who can help her learn to trust and provide her with the decompression time she needs.
