Sam

Sam is a handsome 4-year-old who has spent most of his life without a home. He was recently taken in by a kind Samaritan who gave him a temporary place to stay, but it wasn't a permanent solution. Sam is a bit shy, especially around men, but he's a little more comfortable with women and absolutely adores children! He's already house-trained and is a good boy in the car.

Ideal Home

Sam would do best in a home where he can feel safe and secure. Due to his prey drive, he cannot be placed in a home with chickens.

Ongoing Health

Sam appears healthy, though he may have entropion, a condition where his lower eyelids turn inward. If our veterinarian agrees, this will be corrected with a minor surgery. Sam will also need to be neutered and brought up to date on all his immunizations before he can go to his new home.

Training & Support

Sam is already house-trained and rides well in a vehicle. He is a shy boy, particularly with men, so a patient and understanding family would be ideal to help him build confidence.
