Winnie Whimsy is scruffy perfection wrapped up in a permanently happy little package! With bright, sparkling eyes that seem to find something wonderful about absolutely everyone she meets, she's playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and endlessly entertaining. Winnie has a remarkable talent for making an ordinary afternoon feel like the rest of the world is nothing in comparison. She's an estimated 1 year old and weighs about 12 pounds, likely a Terrier mix. Winnie is currently thriving in a loving foster home where she has earned glowing reviews. She is house and crate trained, perfectly food motivated, and approaches learning with enthusiasm, making training feel like a fun game. We're convinced she could learn an entire repertoire of circus tricks with a bag of treats! Winnie is also wonderfully social; she lives happily alongside a cat and regularly hosts doggie guests in her foster home. She doesn't just tolerate cats, she respects and delights in them as companions!
Ideal Home
Winnie's ideal family is one that enjoys life and likes tossing a toy in the backyard, laughing at goofy moments, teaching fun tricks, heading out on adventures, and ending the day together on the couch. She has plenty of playful energy but is equally talented at curling up beside you once the excitement settles down.
Ongoing Health
Winnie's adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Winnie is house and crate trained and highly food motivated. She loves making her people laugh and seems genuinely delighted anytime she gets to figure something new out. She would likely be thrilled to share her future home with another playful dog, a confident cat, or both.

Winnie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
