Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella! I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthday of April 8, 2026, and I weighed 11.9lbs on June 3, 2026.
I'll admit, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people and new things can be a bit scary. But with a little patience, some kind words, and gentle scratches, my true personality shines through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely LOVE attention. Belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and being told how adorable I am? Yes, please! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family. Like any puppy, I spend my days having fun, carrying toys, wrestling with my brother, investigating interesting things, and then crashing for a well-earned nap. I'm also a pretty smart girl! I'm doing great with crate training and often head into my crate on my own when it's naptime or bedtime. I'm also learning my potty manners and mostly use my puppy pads like a big girl. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me continue building my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. In return, I promise to fill your days with puppy kisses, happy tail wags, and endless love. Could I be the missing piece your family has been looking for?

Transporation
Caramel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may go to various pickup locations, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. You must be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
