Meet Diana — the focused, confident, and fabulous Malinois!
Hello there! I’m Diana, a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois who made the big move from California to Texas. I’m smart, athletic, and independent—with just the right amount of sass. I’m not the clingy type, but if you earn my trust and lead with confidence, I’ll be locked in on you.
I’m a natural leader and I respect a calm, consistent handler. I watch my person closely and love having direction. I’m happiest when I have a job to do, whether that’s training, playing ball, or learning something new. Idle paws? Not for me—I need purpose or I might redecorate your house!
I love playing ball (throw it again. and again. and again.), training sessions (I’m very treat motivated), structure, routine, and clear expectations, working alongside my human, and being mentally and physically challenged.
I am fully house trained, know basic commands, have great leash manners, and am crate trained (and I eat best in my crate). I am very attentive to my handler.
Ideal Home
I’m looking for a Malinois-savvy human who wants a true partner, not just a pet. Someone who enjoys training, engagement, and building trust. If you pay attention to me, give me structure, and keep life interesting—I’ll give you loyalty, focus, and my very best effort.
Ongoing Health
No ongoing health concerns noted.
Training & Support
My foster is working with me on food guarding, and I do best when meals are calm and structured. I am best as the only dog, as I’m bossy and proud of it. I am not cat-friendly (squirrels beware too!). I am reserved and shy with strangers at first—but give me treats or toys and I’ll warm up once I feel safe.
