We focus on skills like leash training and basic commands. We aim to match with families who understand that rescue dogs require continued training efforts and patience, and we are confident Kalena will thrive with continued support.

Transporation
Kalena is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs are transported in comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated drivers and attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your dog's journey on a private Facebook Event page, with opportunities to connect with other adopters and receive ongoing updates. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location. The adoption fee for transported dogs ranges, while pick-up at our Angleton, TX location is $75. This fee covers transport and all vetting.
