Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweetheart with a personality as sweet as her name! After 10 months in a shelter, she received heartworm treatment and is now ready for her forever home. This family-loving girl will greet you at the door with a toy in her mouth and a wagging tail. She absolutely adores the 19-month-old toddler in her foster home and enjoys the company of her foster brother, a male boxer, who shows her the ropes. Oreo hasn't met a human she doesn't like and yearns for love. She's full of fun, from her tail thumping on the couch to her playful fetch sessions with her favorite stuffies, and she's a big fan of water, always ready to jump into a kiddie pool!

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a home that can offer plenty of love and attention. If a doggy sibling is part of the family, she would do best with a laid-back male dog who can handle her vocalizations when she sees other pups on walks, as this is a work in progress.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has undergone heartworm treatment and is now ready for adoption.

Training & Support

Oreo is house-trained and can be left alone without destructive behavior. She is vocal when seeing other dogs on walks, which is currently being worked on. A patient and understanding approach will help her continue to make progress.
