Say hi to Milo!

Milo is a handsome Aussie mix, almost 7 years old and weighing about 75 lbs. He was adopted as a young puppy and is now looking for a new home because it's become clear he's not comfortable around young children.

Ideal Home

Milo would thrive in a home without young children, as he has shown he is not good with kids younger than 5 years old. He enjoys playing with other dogs once he's had a chance to get acquainted, but he does have a preference for female dogs. He sometimes exhibits guarding tendencies when other male dogs are around his food or favorite human. Milo is house-trained and does well in a crate. He has experience with invisible fencing and does well off-leash with familiar people, demonstrating reliable recall. While he currently lives with invisible fencing and can be off-leash on acreage, a fence may not be strictly required.

Ongoing Health

Milo is a healthy Aussie mix. In 2019, he suffered dual broken legs that healed well with surgery. He may show a slight limp temporarily if he lies in an awkward position for a period. As he ages, Milo will likely require care and monitoring for any issues with the screws in his hip bones, though he currently has no activity restrictions.

Training & Support

Milo is house-trained and crate-trained. He has reliable recall with people he knows and does well off-leash.
