About Lexi

Lexi is an approximately 1-year-old female Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, weighing around 10-12 lbs. She's a total love bug, sweet-natured, friendly, affectionate, and playful! One of her favorite things is being with her person and showering them with love and kisses. Lexi will be an awesome companion to someone! She was surrendered to the rescue because she was chewing on a couch.

Ideal Home

Lexi would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard. She needs to have another dog in the home, preferably one her size (up to 20 lbs). Due to her small size, older children would likely be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Lexi is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Lexi is still working on her house-training, currently about 50% there. She's also learning about leash walking, and a harness is highly recommended for better control. She has adjusted to a puppy pen with friends when her foster is away.
