Cookie has a big personality packed into her tiny 7lb Chihuahua mix body! At around one year old, this sweet girl will steal your heart with her adorable underbite and soulful eyes. Cookie is looking for a very special home where she can feel safe and secure. She can be anxious in new situations and needs a calm, predictable environment. While she may not trust everyone instantly, with patience and understanding, you'll gain the loyalty of an incredible companion.

Ideal Home

Cookie is looking for a quiet, stable home with someone who understands tiny dogs and respects their boundaries. She is not a good fit for a home with children due to her size and anxiety. She is currently doing well in a foster home with other dogs up to 15lbs.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Breed mix is a guess based on physical characteristics and any known history.

Training & Support

Cookie can be anxious in new situations and needs a calm, predictable environment. Slow introductions, gentle handling, and consistency will help this little girl blossom.

Transporation

Cookie is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. Transport is available to Buc-ee's in Kodak, TN, arriving late on Friday evenings. Transports run every 2-3 weeks. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island.
