Butter

Butter is a 4½-year-old Shih Tzu with a big personality packed into her 10.8-pound frame. This beautiful tricolor girl (brown, black, and white) came to Dogworks after the heartbreaking loss of her owner. Despite the changes in her life, Butter has remained incredibly loving, loyal, and devoted to her people.

Butter absolutely adores human attention and wants nothing more than to be close to her favorite person. Whether she’s curling up beside you in bed, following you around the house, or soaking up affection, Butter is happiest when she’s the center of your world. She loves meeting new people and quickly wins hearts with her sweet and affectionate nature.

This little lady is doing very well with potty training and has only rare accidents when kept on a regular potty schedule. She is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys a predictable daily routine. Butter is most active in the early part of the day and loves spending time with her people.

Ideal Home

Butter needs to be the only pet in the home as she can become possessive of her owner's attention and does not get along with other dogs or cats. She requires a securely fenced yard and a family that is mindful of doors and gates, as she can be very quick to dart outside if given the opportunity.

Ongoing Health

Butter is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Butter is mostly potty trained with a schedule and is crate trained. She walks nicely on a leash.
