Rubble

Meet Rubble, a scruffy 7-month-old terrier mix who found himself abandoned in a carrier near a dumpster. While his early days were certainly challenging, Rubble has blossomed into a playful and cuddly puppy once he feels safe and comfortable. He's shown great potential and has integrated well with other dogs. Rubble is at a prime age for positive reinforcement and socialization, offering a wonderful opportunity to help him build trust and learn that he has a protector in his corner.

Ideal Home

Rubble would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and protected. Given his past experiences, a calm environment without constant loud noises or boisterous activity would be ideal.

Rubble is a healthy young dog.

Training & Support

Rubble has learned to protect his space, food, and resources. He can be hand-shy and may initially be on guard, but he melts into a fun, playful, and cuddly puppy once he realizes he is safe and not being bothered. He needs a committed adopter who will continue to build his confidence with force-free training and socialization, helping him understand that his person will defend him.

Transportation

Rubble is currently in a foster home in Northern New Jersey. He can be met by appointment at our meeting spots in Northern NJ.
