About ELI (Loves People, Giant Sweet Baby, Loves to Ride, Loving & Affectionate)

Meet Eli--84 pounds of pure love!

This handsome boy is an 84-pound hunk of love with the sweetest, most affectionate personality you have ever met. His foster lovingly calls him a "giant baby," and once you meet him, you'll understand why. When Eli arrived at his foster home, the foster's 2-year-old granddaughter took one look at him and yelled, "Yee-haw!" because she thought he was a horse.

Eli's story started with heartbreak—abandoned in a rural area and left to fend for himself. But despite everything he's been through, Eli absolutely adores people and greets life with a happy tail and loving heart. He's never met a stranger and thrives on being part of the family.

This big sweetheart is playful, affectionate, and always ready for adventure. He loves car rides, walks nicely on a leash, and would happily join you wherever life takes you, whether it's relaxing on the deck soaking up the sunshine, going for a stroll, or cuddling up for movie night. He does love belly rubs! Eli simply wants to be with his people.

Ideal Home

Eli gets along great with other dogs and does well with kids, though bigger dogs and bigger kids may be best simply because of his large size and playfulness. He's energetic and fun-loving but also knows how to settle down and enjoy quiet time. No chickens, please—they are just too fun to chase!

Ongoing Health

Eli is neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots.

Training & Support

Eli is crate-trained, and house training is coming along wonderfully.
