Dill Pickle is a handsome German Shepherd who is just shy of his 6th birthday. He has a wonderful zest for life and still has plenty of energy to play fetch, go for long walks, or even join you for a jog! If it moves, Dill Pickle is sure to be interested, whether that means investigating, chasing, or playing with it.
While he can get along with other dogs, Dill Pickle truly shines when he's the center of attention. He absolutely adores his people, thrives on companionship, and wants nothing more than to be by your side. He's happy to go on an adventure or settle in for a cozy evening, always ready to be your loyal shadow.
This sweet boy is very treat-motivated, making him eager to learn. He's a big boy with a big heart and doesn't always realize how big his head is, so personal space isn't his strong suit – he'd much rather be close for cuddles! After a good play session, Dill Pickle is content to relax on the couch, receive affection, and enjoy being near his family. He can settle himself when needed, but his greatest wish is to share his days with a loving home. As his birthday approaches, his biggest wish is for a home of his own, a comfy couch, and a family to celebrate with.

Transporation
Dill Pickle is located in Texas. Transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. AZ is coming soon. There are predetermined pick-up locations and times. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-$500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request and require financial responsibility from the adopter. Texas adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for transportation within the state. Our transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning for comfort and are staffed with attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location. For those picking up at our Angleton, Texas location, the fee is $75, which includes vetting (DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, microchipping), a collar, and many years of love.
