Meet Nero and Canela!
Nero is the kind of dog that quietly steals your heart without even trying. He's gentle, affectionate, sweet-natured, and happiest when he's close to his people or cuddled up beside his best friend, Canela. This handsome little guy has been growing in confidence more and more each day in foster care, and it has been so rewarding to watch his personality blossom. Nero can be a little nervous around loud noises or unfamiliar situations at first, but he approaches the world with such a soft, gentle nature. He does wonderfully with other dogs, respecting boundaries and happily joining in for playtime once he feels comfortable. Nero has a great balance of playful energy and cuddle bug charm. He loves walks, zooming around the yard, toys, treats, and cozy naps on the couch afterward. He's also incredibly smart and food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and easy to work with. He is fully house trained, sleeps well through the night, walks beautifully on leash, and rarely barks. Nero would thrive in a loving home that will continue helping him build confidence while giving him the affection and companionship he deserves. And of course, we can't forget Canela. These two are deeply bonded and absolutely adore each other. They play together, cuddle together, comfort each other, and truly bring out the best in one another.
