Meet Bodie! This sweet Boxer X Lab mix, born around February 3rd, 2026, and weighing 26lbs as of June 3rd, 2026, has a story that will melt your heart. Bodie was found alone and starving in a drainage pipe, but she hasn't let her tough start define her. Every day, she greets the world with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Her finder initially thought Bodie was a boy and gave her the name "Bodie," which she seems to embrace!
Bodie is a fantastic medium-sized companion with a personality that's larger than life. She absolutely adores people and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. If you're dreaming of a dog who will happily snuggle up with you after a long day and remind you of the power of unconditional love, Bodie is the one. Her sweet nature and great size even led her to accompany the rescue's founder on TV to represent adoptable dogs, where she behaved perfectly! She loves car rides, gets excited for adventures, and would never pass up a pup cup. Transporation
Bodie is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to your state or a neighboring state. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
