Shadow

Shadow is a handsome 5-year-old Shepherd mix who absolutely lives for playtime, especially when a ball is involved! He's a smart boy who has clearly had a lot of love and training invested in him, and it really shows. He's eager to find a new best friend who can match his energy and enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Shadow needs a home with an all-adult household, and no children. He does well with other dogs but would likely be happiest as the only dog or with just one other canine companion. While he's great at meeting people in public, he is reactive to visitors in his home and will need to be kenneled when guests are over.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and is on a monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is a well-trained dog, but he is protective of his home and can be reactive to visitors. He thrives on activity and will need a dog-savvy owner who can provide consistent exercise and understand his body language. He would love a running or hiking partner!
