Ideal Home

Polly enjoys the company of people and gets along with other dogs, understanding their cues about playing and sharing. However, because she is a food snatcher and believes anything she can reach is hers, we will not adopt her to families with young children. She is an excellent companion for sleeping in bed with you.

Ongoing Health

Polly is vaccinated, will be microchipped, and will be spayed on July 29th. She will be ready to start her new life shortly after.

Training & Support

Polly is a work in progress with house training, making it outside about 70% of the time. She enjoys sneak pooping on the rug and shows guilt when asked about it. She is also not yet familiar with leash training but is making progress. Polly is extremely food motivated and will snatch food from other dogs' mouths and your plate if given the chance, which is why she eats separately. She enjoys toys and plays fetch with a ball. She rarely barks and loves zoomies!

Transporation

Polly is located in Blacksburg, but can be transported to an approved adopter. We will offer virtual meet and greets if the adopter is unable to travel.
