Coco Honey The Sweetest

Coco is a 50-pound silver sable German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her appetite for affection! She's a master of cuddles and a champion lounger, but also enjoys outdoor adventures. Coco is a super-smart, food-motivated girl who excels at leash walking and giving kisses. She's eager to be your loyal sidekick and would love to be your co-pilot for car rides.

Ideal Home

Coco would thrive in a home with plenty of sunshine and people to love her. Because she can be vocal, a house rather than an apartment setting is preferred. An active family familiar with the loyal and intelligent nature of Shepherd breeds would be a great match. While she's currently learning to socialize with other dogs and isn't quite sure about toys yet, she is making great progress. She would do best as the only star of your heart, but could also do well with a calm, confident canine companion who can show her the ropes. Her feelings about cats are still a mystery, and she'll need a supervised introduction to see if they can be friends.

Ongoing Health

Coco is a healthy girl who has received all her vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has also been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Coco is a foodie who is eager to learn, especially if treats are involved! She already has impeccable leash manners and is a great candidate for further training. She is learning how to socialize with other dogs and is very respectful of boundaries.

Transporation

Coco is currently in a foster home in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
