Masha would thrive in a very active family that has experience with dogs, particularly with understanding and managing rescue animal behaviors. She would do best with other dogs and children. Patience and tolerance are a must for a rescued dog who needs protection and education.

Ongoing Health

Masha's health is up to date with vaccinations, spaying, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Masha can pull a little on leash when excited. While she is not aggressive, she can be a bit territorial with other dogs and likes to establish herself as the "boss." She may chew on inappropriate items when bored and without toys. She enjoys howling and barking, and has a stubborn streak. Masha is not house-trained. Owners should expect an adjustment period and be prepared to offer patience and understanding.

Masha is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast of the USA on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
