Bernie (Bernie and Betty)

Bernie and Betty are a bonded pair of 8-year-old Chihuahuas, each weighing less than 20 pounds. This loving brother and sister duo enjoy caring for each other by washing each other's faces. They are crate trained and sleep soundly in their crates, especially when they can see each other. Draping a sheet over both crates helps them block out nightly distractions. Bernie and Betty adore snuggling with their humans and get along wonderfully with cats and other small dogs, having adjusted very well to the small dogs in their foster home. They still enjoy going out for walks and are up to date on all their vaccines. Bernie and Betty were the cherished companions of an elderly gentleman who had to move into memory care and could no longer care for them. They are now ready to live their golden years together, surrounded by the love they truly deserve.
