Meet Gina! This lovely 1-year-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix, weighing 56lbs, is searching for her forever family. Gina's journey began when she was found as a tiny puppy, abandoned in a cardboard box by a busy road. Despite her rough start, she's blossomed in her foster home and is ready for a second chance at a loving life.

Ideal Home

Gina would thrive in an active home with a family who can provide her with plenty of daily play and exercise. She would do best with older, dog-savvy children (10 and up) as she can be jumpy when excited and is still learning her size. A home with another dog would be wonderful to keep her company and help her expend her puppy energy, and she enjoys playing with both small and large dogs. Gina would prefer a cat-free home, as she gets a bit too enthusiastic about neighborhood kitties.

Gina is a healthy young pup.

Training & Support

Gina is house and crate trained and can be crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and does not show signs of separation anxiety. She does prefer to eat her treats alone and is in the "puppy velociraptor stage," so she will need guidance on appropriate chew toys. Due to a past attack by other dogs, Gina will do best with slow introductions to new canine friends.
