Meet Tori, a lively 6-7-month-old Lab mix who currently weighs around 32 pounds. Tori was rescued as a stray from a shelter in Memphis, Tennessee, and she's absolutely thrilled at the prospect of finding her forever home! She's a smart girl who thrives on attention and loves to play with other dogs, bringing a boundless amount of energy to her games. Tori has been friendly when meeting children on walks and would likely enjoy a family with kids. However, she does tend to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal for her.
Ideal Home
Tori would do best in an active home with a family or individual who can provide plenty of playtime. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus! She would also love to have a canine sibling or a doggy best friend to play with. A cat-free environment is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Tori experienced some hair loss and dry skin on her back when she was rescued, which was believed to be flea allergy dermatitis. A vet prescribed a topical vitamin treatment, and her skin and fur have made a great recovery. It might be beneficial to supplement her diet with salmon oil or a similar supplement to maintain her coat's health and shine. She is up to date on all vaccinations and spayed.
Training & Support
Tori is working on leash manners, as she can get overly excited. She's already mastered "sit" very quickly and is eager to learn more commands! She is still working on being housebroken but is making good progress. Patience and consistent positive reinforcement will help her master these skills. All dogs adopted through Wags require professional training to help them become the best family members they can be.

Transportation
Tori is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. She is currently in a foster home and is not at a physical shelter location.
