Vera is a beautiful Shepherd mix puppy with a sweet heart, a playful spirit, and the most stunning coat you'll ever see. This adorable girl weighs about 11 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog (26-60 pounds). Depending on the light, her short coat shimmers in shades of black, brown, and dark gray, making her just as unique on the outside as she is on the inside. Although Vera and her littermates were underweight when they first came into foster care, she has absolutely flourished. Today she's a healthy, happy puppy who loves to play, cuddle, and explore the world with confidence. She's outgoing and goofy, but also has a wonderfully mellow side that makes her the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Vera loves wrestling with her siblings, chasing the resident big dogs around the house, playing tug-of-war, and carrying around squeaky toys. She's always ready for a play session, but she's just as happy settling in for some quality cuddle time. In fact, one of her sweetest habits is giving hugs. When you pick her up, she'll wrap a paw around each side of your neck and rest her head against your cheek. It's enough to melt anyone's heart. Like most puppies, Vera has one thing she simply can't stand: waiting for dinner! Mealtime is serious business, and she's always eager when food is on the way. If you're looking for a puppy who is equal parts playful, affectionate, and incredibly lovable, Vera could be the perfect addition to your family. Whether she's chasing her siblings, giving the world's sweetest hugs, or curling up beside you for a nap, she's ready to fill her forever home with love and laughter.
