About Muppet

Muppet might just be the loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and full-time best friend you've been looking for! This handsome, approximately 1-year-old, 60-pound pup, likely a blend of Australian Kelpie and Doberman, is bursting with personality, affection, and enthusiasm for life. Muppet loves to be involved in everything you do, from chores to relaxation, and would happily spend every second with his favorite people. He's a goofy, affectionate boy who still thinks he's a lap dog and is eager to shower you with kisses. He's a lovable goofball still learning his manners, sometimes jumping up for attention and using his paws to say hello, so a family committed to continuing his training will help him shine. Muppet thrives on an active lifestyle and would do best with regular walks, hikes, playtime, and mental enrichment. He adores water and might even excel in dog sports! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, being social, playful, and respectful of their corrections. He has also successfully integrated with a cat and is gentle in his interactions. Muppet is mostly house-trained and improving daily. He walks well on leash once settled, shows no food aggression, and happily uses his crate. Like many young dogs, he can be a bit mischievous and chew inappropriate items if left unsupervised, so provide him with plenty of appropriate chew toys and supervision. His foster family describes him as incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and always ready for an adventure. He's a curious soul who chases squirrels and investigates everything, but his ultimate joy is simply being near his people. Muppet is looking for a family ready to help him continue growing into the amazing dog he's already becoming.
