Elena is a dream girl! She is likely a Black Mouth Cur mix with sugar, spice, and everything nice. She is extremely loyal and loves cuddles from her people. She will nudge your arm for attention and absolutely adores squeaky toys. Elena also has a way of staring at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, silently asking for a scratch or a kiss.

Ideal Home

Elena is house trained and crate trained, and she gets along well with other animals and children. She has done wonderfully with the six dogs and one cat in her foster home. However, she can become territorial in new environments with other dogs, so an experienced dog owner or a home with no other dogs would be ideal. She can coexist with other dogs if she clearly understands you are the pack leader.

Elena is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Elena knows how to sit and wait for her food until she is told "go ahead." She loves children and is comfortable with even the smallest ones hugging her. One of her favorite pastimes is watching squirrels in the backyard; she could do this for hours if allowed! Elena is a good dog ready for her forever home and has plenty of love and fun to share with the right family.
