This gorgeous 4-month-old German Shepherd pup has been thriving in her foster home after being rescued from the Galveston shelter with her siblings. In just a few short weeks, she's adjusted beautifully to home life, settling into a routine and showing just how loving and adaptable she is. Chleo is the most affectionate of the litter and the quickest to warm up. From the start, she's been eager to connect, happily soaking up attention and returning it with just as much love. She's the kind of puppy who wants to be part of everything, whether that's playtime with toys or curling up close for affection. Her coat is a beautiful mix of black with tan and white along her lower half, making her just as striking as she is sweet. She has a great balance of playful and calm, enjoying her toys just as much as she enjoys being with her people. Chleo responds well to commands and is very motivated by treats, making her a great candidate for continued training. She's already doing well with both kennel training and potty training and continues to improve with consistency. She sleeps through the night, with only the occasional early morning potty break, and does well with the other dogs in the home. She's comfortable with adults and has shown herself to be a fairly quiet pup overall! She'll speak up every now and then when there's food or treats involved, letting you know her excitement of what she knows is coming. Like all puppies, Chleo will need continued structure, patience, and guidance, but she is already off to an amazing start. With her affectionate nature and eagerness to learn, she's ready to grow into a loyal, loving companion. Chleo is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
