Thunder The Zesty Bestie

Thunder is a 10-month-old, 40-pound bundle of joy, possibly a Pit Bull or Lab Retriever mix, who is looking for his forever home. He's a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, thriving on companionship. Thunder is playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. He enjoys a good game of fetch and is just as happy to snuggle up afterwards. He has lived with cats and does wonderfully with them. Thunder is already crate trained and potty trained, and knows "sit" and "wait." He would love a home with outdoor space to play, explore, and sunbathe.

Thunder would love a home with outdoor space where he can play, explore, and soak up the sun during his favorite sunbathing sessions.

Ongoing Health

Thunder is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Thunder is still young and will need a family committed to continued training, socialization, and the time and patience puppyhood requires. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences are key to raising a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We require adopters to continue crate training upon arrival home, as it supports potty training, energy management, and long-term success.

Transportation

Thunder is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
