Angie is a 4-year-old pittie mix who embodies the term "house hippo." She's a professional snuggler, world-class sunbather, and a devoted companion. Angie's specialty is being a calm and affectionate presence, perfect for those who love pitties but prefer a more relaxed energy. She's a lovebug with a short, stocky body, a cute blocky head, and a soft, shiny black coat. Angie is incredibly easy to live with, content to quietly hang out by your side, nap near your desk, or soak up some sunshine. She's an A+ snuggler who happily curls up next to her person at bedtime.
Ideal Home
Angie would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished member of the family. She has a history of being wonderful with children aged 4-10 and would do best with kids around 6 years and older who appreciate her gentle nature. Angie is also happy sharing her space with other mellow, respectful dogs but will need a home without cats, as she finds them too interesting.
Ongoing Health
Angie is a rescue and her breed and exact age are a mystery. She is crate trained and has been a wonderful houseguest, capable of staying in her kennel for up to eight hours. Angie does have a tendency to chew on shoes and magazines, so it's recommended to keep tempting items put away or kennel her when unsupervised.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and shows no issues with house-soiling. The only behavioral quirk noted is her occasional interest in chewing on shoes and magazines, which can be managed by keeping these items out of reach or by crating her when left alone.
