Millicent aka Millie

Millicent, affectionately known as Millie or Millie Moon, is a brave and beautiful girl with an estimated birthdate of January 17, 2022. She recently joined our rescue and is currently decompressing in her foster home. Millie is adjusting well and even rode calmly in the car on her way to her foster home, observing everything with a touch of "nervous" drool – which we affectionately call Millie love! She enjoys being close to her person on walks, sometimes even walking between your legs. Millie willingly uses her crate as a safe space and has been noted to be great in it, though she doesn't have to be crated. She loves to bask in the sun or relax in the cool shade. Millie is a wonderful dog who, once she trusts you, will shower you with love, wiggles, and kisses!

Ideal Home

Millie thrives with a patient person who will give her time to open up. She seems to prefer females and forms a very strong bond with her chosen person, showing them her sweet, funny, and goofy side. Millie would be happy as an only dog, or she would also do well with dog or kitty siblings. She's adaptable and will adjust her play style to match that of other dogs, regardless of their age, size, or energy level.

Ongoing Health

Millie receives a wellness visit and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Her spay/neuter surgery will be performed by a rescue-affiliated veterinarian.

Training & Support

Millie walks well on a leash and becomes very attached to the person who walks her. She loves bones and toys of all kinds.
