Meet Flacko!
Flacko is a charming 8-month-old, 40lb German Shepherd Dog mix who is already neutered and ready to steal your heart. He's currently enjoying life in a foster home in Houston, TX, and is eager to find his forever family. Flacko is a bundle of joy who absolutely loves people and his canine friends. He's also quite taken with the foster cat, though his playful enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. He's a smart cookie who learns quickly and is always looking for ways to please his humans. This energetic pup has a blast playing with other dogs of all sizes and is great at understanding their social cues. He even earned an A++ from Doggie Daycare Playgroups and enjoys snuggling with smaller puppy pals. Flacko has also been wonderful with his foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy having a human sibling to share adventures with. He's still mastering some puppy manners, like jumping and leash pulling, so he'll need supervision around very young children. After a good romp, Flacko loves nothing more than to snuggle up with his favorite people, showing off his adorable belly for rubs. He's also a huge fan of the pool and can keep himself entertained with his favorite toys. Flacko is already house and crate trained and will truly shine with an experienced adopter who can guide him as he navigates the world with growing confidence.
Ideal Home
Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him continue to build confidence. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has been great with children, though he's still learning manners around smaller kids. His enthusiasm might be a bit much for some cats.

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Flacko is working on his puppy manners, including jumping and pulling on the leash. He would benefit from continued guidance and supervision in these areas.
