Meet Edward Scissorpaws, a shy but increasingly happy and playful Jack Russell Terrier–Australian Cattle Dog mix. Edward and his brothers came to rescue after growing up without human care, and he has worked hard to learn that people can be kind and loving. He is the shyest of the group and may need time, patience, and space to build trust. Once comfortable, he is playful, gentle, bouncy, and excited to see familiar people.

Edward enjoys treats tossed in his direction and is gradually becoming more comfortable with interaction. He is ready for a forever home that will let him open up at his own pace.

Training & Support

Edward is not completely house-trained, although he has not had accidents inside the house. He spends substantial time outdoors and will need continued support with house training. He is gentle, playful, and gets along with dogs and children.
