Penny Bun Mushroom is approximately seven months old and may be a Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix, though breed makeup is never guaranteed with rescue puppies. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people, checks in with her handler, and shows surprisingly good leash manners. Penny Bun has a special love for stuffed toys, carrying them around like a comfort object. She is social and respectful with other dogs, handling play and submission with ease. Penny Bun also showed gentle behavior towards a cat and children, indicating she could do well in an apartment environment with proper enrichment. She is a balanced puppy with a soft, happy energy, playful without being overwhelming, and cuddly without being clingy.

Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Penny Bun has demonstrated good leash manners and a desire to please. The rescue also provides extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers to ensure a good fit.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
