Honey Bee Your Heart is a sweet, gentle, and wonderfully easy-to-love companion who will immediately make herself at home in your heart! She is estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs a perfectly portable 12 pounds. While she looks like a Chihuahua mix, she is a rescue, so her exact breed and age are our best guess. What we know for sure is that she is an affectionate little dog whose favorite place in the world is right alongside her people.
Ideal Home
Honey is searching for a family to love. She would be happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or joining a home with respectful canine companions of any size. She could also live successfully with calm, respectful cats who appreciate a peaceful roommate. She is not looking for a home with a lot of adventure or excitement, but rather one with a lap to claim, a few snacks, a soft bed, a steady routine, and people who will appreciate her as a special, adoring companion.
Ongoing Health
Honey is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Honey is house-trained, crate-trained, and has mastered the doggie door. She is a loving and gentle dog, showing a soft, easygoing nature. She approaches new introductions with caution, preferring to coexist peacefully.

Transporation
Honey is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
